We are also joined once again by The Pennine Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic, experts in relieving those post-event aches, pains and strains; The Monsoon Tandoori Restaurant in Slaithwaite, the perfect place for post-event Asian cuisine; and also our closest sponsors Mick, Vicky and Claire at The Walkers Arms, where a refreshing range of post-event refreshment is guaranteed to quench your thirst.
Thank You
Please continue to support all our sponsors, for without them the event would not be the continuing success that it is. Thank you.

About the event
Over recent years we have adapted our route to try and incorporate as much legal off-road riding as we possibly can. This year our investment in time and effort has paid off handsomely and we have secured access to several new sections. These will provide a bit of added variety for our returning participants and will complement the rest of the route nicely. As a bonus, one of the evil tarmac climbs has bitten the dust! The 30 mile route is a mixture of demanding off road terrain, local roads and lanes, set around the picturesque countryside of the Colne Valley in Huddersfield.
The course travels through the heart of the "Last of the Summer Wine" and "Where the Heart Is" country. The event is open to anyone aged 12 or over, however under 16's must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult. Riders of all abilities are welcomed, but are reminded that although this is primarily a fun event, the course is challenging.
This is a fundraising event in support of the 39th Parkwood Scout Group and Leymoor Cricket Club, Golcar.
